BOILING SPRINGS 3, GREENCASTLE 0 >> Greencastle was bombarded by Boiling Spring's offense in a 3-0 Mid Penn Colonial Division defeat.

The Bubblers racked up 44 shots in the game and were up 3-0 by halftime. The Blue Devils (4-5, 2-2 MPC) managed just three shots.

"We could not get out of the press Boiling Springs had in our circle," G-A coach Becca Farson said. "Mackenzie Oberholzer came to the rescue again in goal, and Morgan Clopper played great defensively. The whole defense stepped up."

Oberholzer finished with 24 saves for Greencastle.

SHIPPENSBURG 2, BIG SPRING 1 >> After a scoreless first half, Shippensburg picked it up to earn a Mid Penn Colonial Division win over Big Spring.

The Lady Hounds (4-3-1, 2-2 MPC) got on the board first when Zoe Holtry scored three minutes into the second half. Twelve minutes later, Courtney Coy, who assisted Holtry's goal, found the back of the cage to make it 2-0.

"We played as a team and wanted to win," Ship coach Angela Hostetter said. "I am very proud of my girls."

Shippensburg goalie Desiree Neil had a big game to secure the Lady Hounds' victory.

FORBES ROAD 5, BELLEVILLE MENNONITE 0 >> Forbes Road used an all-around strong attack in a 5-0 Keystone League win over Belleville Mennonite.

The Cardinals (7-2, 5-0 KL) scored two goals in the first half and three in the second, and they out-shot Belleville 27-6 to cruise to victory.

"They have a very nice goalie, so our goal was to pass in the circle," Forbes Road coach Carol Cline said. "The girls executed our gameplan well."

Malea Truax and McKenzie Gelvin finished with two goals and one assist to lead the Cardinal offense, and Brittany Truax also got in on the action with a goal, and Kiersten Cline added an assist.
