INDOOR TRACK: Chambersburg earns 5 wins


HAGERSTOWN, Md. - Chambersburg took a team to the Mountain Express Holiday Indoor Track & Field Invitational at Hagerstown Community College on Saturday and produced five gold medals.

Cirsten Kelly captured the girls 300-meter dash in 43.75, which broke her own school indoor record.

Caroline Hance, a freshman competing in her first indoor race, won the girls 55 hurdles in 9.84. The time is only 0.4 seconds behind the school record of Daniesa Lyle.

The other winners included Ali Brown in the boys high jump (5-foot-8), Reagan Winebrenner in the girls shot put (32-7.75) and Kelton Chastulik in the boys shot put (51-4).

The Trojans had three runner-up finishers -- Kelly (55 dash, 7.95), Christian Ortiz (boys high jump, 5-6) and the girls 4 x 200 relay team (Madison Swain, Maya Washington, Hance and Kelly, 2:03.25).
