BOYS TENNIS: Saturday's roundup
MERCERSBURG 7, HILL 0 >> Mercersburg Academy's boys tennis team dominated from start to finish in a Mid-Atlantic Prep League win over Hill on Saturday.
The Blue Storm (3-1, 2-1 MAPL) dominated every match, never losing more than three games in a set.
"We had a very good day," Mercersburg coach Eric Hicks said. "For the first time this season, everyone played well from start to finish. We kept unforced errors to a minimum while being aggressive and going for our shots."
Shayan Ghodsi (No. 4 singles) and John Huang (No. 5 singles) had impressive performances, downing their opponents 6-1, 6-1. Teddy Schoeck picked up a 6-0, 6-3 win at No. 3 singles, and Saaman Ghodsi and Elliot Hicks had an 8-2 victory at No. 1 doubles.
