BOYS SOCCER: Monday's roundup

SHALOM CHRISTIAN 3, GRACE ACADEMY 0 >> One burst of scoring in the final 11 minutes of the first half pushed Shalom Christian to a Mason-Dixon Christian Conference boys soccer victory over Grace Academy on Monday.

Jonah Stains scored the first goal with 11:02 left and assisted on the next two before the break. Peter Livermore scored only 13 seconds after Stains' first goal, which Livermore had assisted, then Chase Martin scored only 19 seconds before the half ended.

"Our passing and movement were some of the best this season," Flames coach Chris Lehman said. "We played excellent defense, and the midfield and forwards created all three goals with great unselfish passes."

Shalom (5-0-1, 5-0-1 MDCC) got five saves from Micah Lehman in goal.
