BOYS LACROSSE: Thursday's roundup


PALMYRA 9, CHAMBERSBURG 5 >> Chambersburg's boys lacrosse team dug itself into an early hole and suffered a Mid Penn Conference defeat against Palmyra on Thursday evening.

The Trojans (2-4, 2-4 MPC) scored two goals in each of the last two quarters but managed only one tally in the entire first half.

Jake Pierson was the top scorer for Chambersburg, netting three goals, while Grant Swisher dished out two assists. Collin Bricker and Matt Snider each had a goal.

The Trojans also suffered a 17-8 defeat at the hands of Lower Dauphin on Tuesday. Pierson led the way with four goals, while Snider and Brandin Cosey each scored twice.
