CROSS COUNTRY: Thursday's roundup


GREENCASTLE, SHIPPENSBURG SPLIT >> Greencastle-Antrim picked up a dominating Mid Penn Colonial Division boys cross country victory, but it was Shippensburg that won the girls race.

The Blue Devils won the boys race, 16-47, while Ship girls came out on top, 24-33.

Greencastle-Antrim (5-0, 5-0 MPC) took the top four spots in the boys race. Daniel Salazar and Andrew Johnson both posted times of 17:28 to take the top two spots. Shippensburg's fastest boy was Hunter Kent who placed fifth in 18:14.

Greencastle's Madison Hurley won the girls race in 19:58, but the Lady Hounds claimed six of the top 10 spots. Ava Franklin led Ship in second place, clocking in at 21:35.
