CROSS COUNTRY: Thursday's roundup


SOUTHERN FULTON GOES 1-2 >> Southern Fulton took three of the top four places to capture a non-league boys cross country win over Windber on Thursday afternoon, 20-38.

In the girls race, the Indians edged Johnstown Christian 28-29, but fell by the same score to Windber.

Chase Varner (18:29) and Benji Voight (19:06) went 1-2 for Southern Fulton (3-0), and Sage Minteer (19:24) placed fourth.

For the SF girls (3-1), Maddie Baker (24:47) placed fifth and Emily Bradshaw (26:08) was eighth.
