Shalom boys finish season in national tourney


The Shalom Christian boys basketball team closed out its season with a 0-3 run in the National Christian Schools Athletic Association tournament

The Flames closest match came against New Jerusalem in a 47-46 loss, despite outscoring their opponent 14-9 in the final frame.

Leading scorer Jonah Stains had his most productive game of the tournament adding 22 points against New Jerusalem. He scored 54 total points in the three games.

Shalom lost 67-40 to Gloucester and 55-32 to Broadfording.

Cameron Roseman finished the tournament with 25 total points, adding 11 against Broadfording, while Micha Lehman scored 22 total points through three games, including 11 against New Jerusalem.

Shalom completed the season 22-9.
