F-F H.S. Highlights, May 4

The Chambersburg girls lacrosse team took a tough loss to York Catholic in a 21-6 non-league decision for a valuable learning experience.

"York Catholic is a strong team and they took control of the ball. Early on we learned we needed to win the draw to make things happen on attack," Chambersburg coach Katie Feairheller said. "Their defense was fast and aggressive. We played a stronger second half and didn't let the goal deficit slow us down."

Hannah Raines scored three goals, and Liza Ernst scored twice and led with eight shots on goal. Cameron Stouffer led with five ground balls for the Lady Trojans (2-11) and also scored once.
