P.O. Honor Roll


ZACH BARNHART, Shippensburg baseball: Barnhart threw 5 2/3 innings against Chambersburg, and allowed two runs. His approach kept the Trojans off balance as the Greyhounds earned an 8-2 victory. He also had three strikeouts and walked four in his first win of the season.

COURTNEY COY, Shippensburg softball: Coy threw an impressive complete game in a pitchers' duel with James Buchanan, where she allowed six hits and no earned runs. The Lady Hounds lost 1-0 due to a run brought in on a throwing error. Coy also organized a tribute to a James Buchanan student who passed away earlier in the week by making purple hair ribbons for the team, and reached out to JB captain Taryn Miller to organize a prayer prior to the game.

ROBYN GUARRIELLO, Chambersburg girls track & field: Guarriello claimed gold in the 100 hurdles at Harrisburg with a season-best time of 16.8.

OLIVIA HALL, Forbes Road softball: Hall had two hits for the Cardinals in a 8-6 win over McConnellsburg that broke a five-game losing streak.

NICOLE KREIMER, Waynesboro softball: Kreimer had a hand in three Maiden wins this week. She went 4-for-4 with four RBIs during the Maidens' hit parade against New Oxford, was 2-for-3 in a loss to Cumberland Valley and had two hits against James Buchanan.

DEREK MEASELL, Greencastle-Antrim baseball: Measell earned two wins on the mound this week, one in 9-2 win over Big Spring and a 7-0 shutout over Boiling Springs. Measell struck out 21 batters in his last 13 innings of work. He is 4-0 for the season and has one save.

JENNA MONGOLD, James Buchanan softball: Mongold threw a complete-game shutout against Shippensburg and gave up just four hits - all singles - in a 1-0 win. She struck out three and issued no walks. She also struck out five in the Rockets' 11-1 win over Trinity in four innings of work.

ANDREW MOONEY, Chambersburg boys tennis: Mooney battled for a No. 3 singles victory over CD East, 6-4, 6-1, to aid the Trojans in a 4-1 Mid Penn Commonwealth Division victory.

HADEN OCKER, Chambersburg boys lacrosse: Ocker, a freshman, put himself on the map last week, scoring five of Chambersburg's nine goals against Carlisle and had an assist.

NATE REED, Chambersburg boys track & field: Reed was a three-event winner at Harrisburg, taking first in the long jump, triple jump and javelin.

CARLY SWOPE, McConnellsburg softball: Swope went 2-for-4 at the plate and struck out five in a complete-game outing against Forbes Road.

KATIE WISE, Wayesboro softball: Wise went 4-for-4 with a triple in Waynesboro's 9-4 win over Big Spring, in which the Maidens rattled off 14 hits to take sole possession for first place in the Mid Penn Colonial Division. She also went 4-for-5 and had three RBIs in a win over New Oxford.

LEXY POE, Shalom Christian girls soccer: Poe netted a hat trick for the Flames and was the only Shalom player on the field to find the net in a 3-1 win over Grace Academy.

REAGAN WINEBRENNER, Chambersburg girls track & field: During a meet at Harrisburg, Winebrenner thew the shot for a personal best of 36-9, and won the discus with a throw of 95-7.
