BASKETBALL

Last chance for PIAA advance tickets

Friday is the last day to buy advance sale tickets for PIAA basketball games.

Three local schools have teams left in the playoffs - McConnellsburg and Southern Fulton are represented by both their boys and girls teams, and Greencastle-Antrim's girls are still in the hunt. Each school will have tickets on sale through noon Friday.

Advance ticket costs for students are $3, or $6 for adults. All tickets at the gate are $6. Schools receive a percentage of the advance ticket sales.

FOOTBALL

New Trojan coach to meet public

The Chambersburg athletic department has scheduled a meet and greet event for new head football coach Mark Luther, on Wednesday, March 9 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

The event will be held in the CASHS Auditorium. All interested players from sixth to 11th grade and their parents are encouraged to attend the meeting, as well as all interested community members.
