Vote: YAIAA Boys' Athlete of the Week

On paper, the YAIAA boys' basketball tournament first-round matchups looked to be competitive. On the court, they were anything but that.

It started with Northeastern vs. William Penn. During the regular season, the Bearcats handed the Bobcats their only loss of the season, a 78-67 defeat on Dec. 24. But Friday night was an entirely different outcome, with Northeastern rocking William Penn 76-47.

In other first-round tournament action, Spring Grove topped Hanover 61-44, Eastern York beat York Catholic 59-46 and Central York downed West York 62-38.
