Sunday Spotlight: Two-minute drill Q&A with Dover's Malik Allen
Few players in the YAIAA can match the intensity of Dover's Malik Allen in a post-game huddle. Who better to answer some questions about the Eagles than him?
Allen, a tight end and outside linebacker, shared some thoughts and opinions during this summer's YAIAA media day. Here's what he had to say:
The one player on your team you wouldn’t want to face: I would have to say Durran Ledbetter because he runs so hard, he runs like he has a point to prove. Me and my dad like to call it “little-man syndrome.” He goes hard every play, and I respect him for that.
Your least favorite practice drill: Probably pursuit drill. We just line up and we come off and run to a trash can, drop to our feet and do it all over again.
The best nickname on the team: Kire Watkins. We call him “Neck Bone” because of how big his neck is.
Actor who would play you in a movie: Will Smith because a lot of people say I look like Will Smith.
Your worst sport: Badminton. We play it in gym, and I hate it because I’m so bad.
Favorite YAIAA stadium, other than your own: Central’s.
