Sunday Spotlight: Two-minute drill Q&A with William Penn's Lasmir Mitchell

A defensive captain on the William Penn football team, linebacker Lasmir Mitchell shared these details about the Bearcats in 2014 during this summer's YAIAA media day:

The one player on your team you wouldn’t want to face: Jacob Whitfield. He’s our biggest lineman, and when he gets mad he’s pretty hard to stop.

Your least favorite practice drill: The open-field tackling because linebacker, as you know, we like to fill gaps, not tackle fast running backs and receivers in the open field.

The best nickname on the team: Darren Stephens. We call him “Junior,” “Mo,” all types of stuff. We just call him five different nicknames.

Your worst sport: There’s a lot of them. I’m going to say Ultimate Frisbee … tennis. All types of stuff like that. I’ve tried all of them before in gym class, and I suck at them.

Favorite YAIAA stadium, other than your own: Spring Grove. It gets a little foggy around that time of the year, but it’s a nice field.
