Change coming to high school roundups
You'll still see my reporters, correspondents and photographers out in the field, bringing you the best game coverage, live updates, videos and photos from a wide array of spring sports.
What is changing is how we present them in print in the Daily Record.
Readers will still find game stories, features and pictures every morning when they get the paper. A full scoreboard, too.
But, starting in Tuesday’s edition of the Daily Record, roundups will appear in print two days after the events are scheduled to occur. The change was necessitated, in part, by a move to an earlier nightly deadline. But I think it will help us present a more complete and a more accurate picture of each day's schedule.
Here's when each roundup will print: • Monday’s events will be published in Wednesday’s paper;• Tuesday’s events will be published in Thursday’s paper;• Wednesday’s events will be published in Friday’s paper; • Thursday’s events will be published in Saturday’s paper;• Friday’s and Saturday’s events will be published in Sunday’s paper.
