South Western's football team wore “Pink Running Mustang” helmet decals throughout October to raise awareness and money for those affected by cancer.

The football program's goal, coach Damian Poalucci said, was to raise and donate $10,000 to the South Western Relay For Life Team. With the help of players, parents, fans and local organizations the effort raised and donated $14,670 to the South Western Relay For Life Team.
