Fast. Fearless.

Those two words pretty much sum up Dover's Alayah Hall on the court. She helped the Eagles advance to the state quarterfinals last season, and with four of their five starters returning, Troy Lokhaiser's squad should be a force again this year.

We wanted to see just how fearless Alayah is. She's the focus of our cover story for the upcoming basketball tab (on GameTimePA and in the Daily Record and Evening Sun on Dec. 5). So five members of the GameTimePA team made the trip to Dover to capture Alayah on top of the basketball hoop, with a tarantula and with a scorpion.

She barely flinched. Keep reading to watch videos of the shoot ..... Ryan "The Bugman" Bridge supplied the tarantula and scorpion for the shoot. Here he is introducing Roxy the Tarantula to Alayah.

Alayah was steady as Roxy was on top of the basketball:

Then we put her on top of the basketball hoop:

And then it was time for Kevin the Scorpion:

Hall was unshakeable. And photog Kate Penn got some great shots. It's not going to be easy to pick the one for the cover. Thanks to Coach Lokhaiser, AD Rich Leathery and assistant AD/trainer Dave App for their help.
