West York baseball to march once again

The West York baseball team celebrated its first state baseball championship last year with a parade and will do so again after repeating as PIAA champs. The Bulldogs will parade through West York next Wednesday, June 26.

The march will start and end at the high school, which is located at 1800 Bannister St. The event is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m.

West York successfully defended its PIAA Class AAA baseball title last Friday at Penn State's Medlar Field, beating Upper Moreland, 2-1. The Bulldogs closed their season winning 12 of their last 13 games, ripping through the postseason after a regular season of ups and downs.
