Big 26 baseball roster includes five from YAIAA

Five YAIAA baseball players earned a spot on Pennsylvania's Big 26 Baseball Classic roster, the scholarship foundation announced Thursday. The following players will take on the Maryland squad in the high school all-star game for rising sophomores and juniors:

Additionally, Red Land's Jeremy Hileman earned a spot on the roster.

Two YAIAA coaches will lead the Pennsylvania team. West York's Roger Czerwinski will be an assistant coach, while South Western's Mike Resetar will be the director of player development.

A year after the inaugural Big 26 Baseball Classic was held at Sovereign Bank Stadium in York, this season's three-game series will be at Metro Bank Park in Harrisburg, home of the Class AA Harrisburg Senators. Games are scheduled for 7:05 p.m. July 26, 4:35 p.m. July 27 and 1:35 p.m. July 28.
