Lumberjax Shootout coming soon to the fields of Spring Grove

ID=75288298

Lacrosse fans in the area -- take note: On Saturday, May 4, club lacrosse teams will descend upon the fields of the Spring Grove Area School District for the 7th annual Lumberjax Shootout.

The tourney, sponsored by the Spring Grove Lumberjax lacrosse club, will feature about 84 teams from around the region. Many club teams from York and Adams counties will be there to represent, plus teams from nearby areas such as Central Dauphin and Chambersburg all the way to Kelly Post from the lacrosse hotbed of Baltimore.

Before I get to the nitty gritty, don't forget that we want to see your pictures from the tournament!!! And not just the standard group shots of the champions (which are nice, too!). But change it up a bit: clear action shots, fun outtakes or unusual shots all fit the bill. Your shots could end up in the York Daily Record's print edition or here, on the Varsity Beat blog.

Here's how you can send us photos:

Via ydr.com | Upload your photos to our online galleries or click here to submit a shot.

Via GameTimePA.com | Tweet them @GameTimePA or share them on our Facebook page.

Email | Send them to me at ejones@ydr.com with the subject line "Lumberjax tournament."
