Chad Kelly injured in Clemson spring football game


Chad Kelly, a former Red Lion quarterback, suffered a serious knee injury during Clemson's spring football game Saturday, according to The Associated Press.

Kelly, a backup quarterback for the Tigers, had thrown a 16-yard touchdown pass for the game's first points, according to the Clemson athletics Twitter account. The score capped a 43-yard drive for the Orange team in which Kelly went 6-for-7 passing with 14 rushing yards.
