York Suburban volleyball 'White Out' for a great cause

Brandon Hohenadel is shown posing with the Nittany Lion near his bed at the Hershey Medical Center in December. On Tuesday, April 9, the York Suburban boys volleyball team will host its fifth annual White Out at the high school when the Trojans take on Eastern York.

The event began in 2009 to raise money for the Cancer Patient Help Fund in honor of Clark Fisher, the father of two former Trojan volleyball players, who passed away in 2010.

This year both teams will also be raising money for "Brandon's Battle" a foundation set up to honor Eastern York senior Brandon Hohenadel, who is battling leukemia.

Brandon’s Battle creates “Brandon’s Bags” which are filled with goodies and given out to pediatric cancer patients to lift their spirits and bring smiles to their faces. The Junior Varsity match begins at 6:00 p.m. with Varsity to follow. Please join us for an exciting night of volleyball and to support two vital causes.
