As the club of 1,000-point scorers in the YAIAA grows by the weeks -- and even days -- Red Lion senior forward Jenny Horvatinovic was the latest to reach the milestone.

Horvatinovic did it Tuesday night in a 66-48 win against New Oxford, as she scored 20 points a victory that helps the Lions in their question to win another YAIAA Division I girls' basketball crown. They currently trail West York by a game and get one more meeting with the Bulldogs.

Horvatinovic's career spans over two schools, having started her career at Dallastown before transferring to Red Lion last season as a junior.

Next up for 1,000 will likely be William Penn guard Tavon Parker. He needs 26 points to get it. The Bearcats, who beat Dallastown on Tuesday, play at South Western on Wednesday with a chance to clinch the YAIAA Division I boys' title.
