Aurielle Mosley PSAC East Player of the Week ... again

It's been a rare occurrence when Central York grad Aurielle Mosley (with the ball at left) has not scored in double figures for Millersville University.

However, the redshirt senior recently went three games without reaching the 10-point mark - until last week when she averaged 20 points and 10.5 rebounds per game in a 2-0 week for Marauders. Because of her performance, Mosley was named the PSAC East Women's Athlete of the Week for the fourth time this season and ninth time in her stellar career.

Mosley scored exactly 20 points against both East Stroudsburg and Kutztown. Against the Warriors last Wednesday, Mosley led the team in scoring and shot 7-of-14 from the field and 6-for-6 from the line. She also posted eight boards and two blocks in 26 minutes.

Against the Golden Bears at home on Saturday, the redshirt senior helped Millersville reach second place in the PSAC East with 14 of her 20 points coming in the second half. She also pulled down 13 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the season.

Mosley is sixth in the conference in scoring, averaging 14.2 points per game and tied for sixth in rebounding with 8.2 board per contest. Her 2.5 blocks per game finds her tied for second in the league.
