Bearcats break into state rankings

William Penn moved into the No. 10 spot of the Class AAAA boys' basketball rankings. The Bearcats had received votes the last few weeks but not enough to crack the top 10. That changed this week, as they prepare for a three-game stretch that begins with Central York, follows with a meeting against Division I contender South Western and closes with an intriguing non-conference contest at Reading.

Here's a look at this week's state basketball rankings, courtesy of Michael Bullock of the Patriot News.
