Biglverville's Parker Showers now Lycoming's top returner

With his 19-yard second-quarter kickoff return, preceded by his 33-yard return of the opening kickoff, Biglerville grad Parker Showers became the career kickoff return yardage leader at Lycoming College.

Showers entered the Warriors' 21-13 win over Lebanon Valley College needing 49 yards to pass the mark set by Ricky Lanetti in 2003. And for his efforts was awarded the MAC Special Teams Player of the Week.

A standout running back during his high school career with the Canners, Showers also contributed 71 yards on 22 carries against LVC. After three games, he is second on Lycoming in yards rushing with 133 and has one touchdown.
