Route set for West York baseball championship parade

As we first mentioned a few weeks ago, the West York baseball team will hold a parade this Thursday to celebrate its PIAA Class AAA championship. The event will begin at the high school around 6 p.m., and be followed by a ceremony in the school's gymnasium around 6:45.

If you're interested in attending the parade Thursday, here's a look at the route:

-- Parade participants gather in front of the high school at 6 p.m. -- Enter onto N. Diamond Street turning left and traveling south until Filbert Street. -- Turn Left onto Filbert traveling east (passing The Crazy Tomato) until N. Adams Street. -- Turn left onto N. Adams Street until Orange Street. -- Turn left onto Orange Street traveling west (passing the Viking Athletic Association). -- Right onto N. Clinton Street traveling back into the West York High School rear parking lot.
