Susquehannock's Josh Heyne helps West Chester reach Div. II College World Series

Susquehannock grad Josh Heyne is finishing up a fine collegiate baseball career by helping lead West Chester University to the Division II College World Series.

Heyne was 2-for-3 with an RBI in the 6-0 Rams win over PSAC rival Kutztown in the Atlantic Region final. West Chester heads to Cary, N.C., where it will face Chico State in the next round of the NCAA tournament.

The senior Heyne has hit .316 (49-for-155) this season with 10 doubles, five home runs and 30 runs batted in. After playing third base his first three seasons with the Rams, the tri-captain moved to shortstop with great success during 2012.
