Dylan Keller and Karli McFatridge earn Gretchen Wolf Swartz Memorial scholarships

Two YAIAA student-athletes were recently rewarded not just for their athletic ability, but also for their character and sportsmanship.

York Suburban's Dylan Keller and York Catholic's Karli McFatridge each received $3,500 from the Gretchen Wolf Swartz Memorial Scholarship fund.

The fund is set up in memory of former basketball official Gretchen Wolf Swartz, who died from leukemia in 1997. The scholarship fund honors values such as sportsmanship, honesty, integrity, cooperation, teamwork, courage and discipline.
