Hinnenkamp headed to Dickinson College

A quick note on York Suburban basketball standout Ted Hinnenkamp, who recently made a decision on his college future. The Trojans senior, who was the YAIAA's leading boys' scorer this past season, has committed to Dickinson College.

Hinnenkamp turned in a fine senior campaign for York Suburban, averaging 21 points and leading the Trojans to a 23-6 record and a PIAA Class AAA second round appearance. Earlier this week, Hinnenkamp was named a Class AAA third-team all-state selection.

Hinnenkamp ultimately decided between Dickinson and the University of Rochester. At Dickinson, Hinnenkamp will join former York Suburban teammate Thomas McInerney, a rising junior at the school. Former Hanover standout Pete Yingst also plays for the Red Devils.

Hinnenkamp plans to study international business.
