Three Northeastern football players headed to the PSAC

A trio of Northeastern senior football players have signed letters of intent to schools in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC).

Wide receiver Eric Steadman will attend Kutztown. Steadman snagged a team-high 37 catches for 363 yards and four touchdowns last season.

Linebacker Desean Griffin committed to Bloomsburg. He compiled team-highs in both tackles (91) and sacks (11) last fall.

Finally, Lineman Derrick Turner has signed with Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Turner chipped in 55 tackles and a sack on defense.

Not a bad recruiting haul for the Bobcats, who produced the most successful season during the program's four-year history in 2011. Northeastern (6-5) won a share of the YAIAA Division II title and made its first District 3-AAA playoff appearance.
