Your District 3 basketball championships schedule

Once again, you can expect a heavy local presence at the Giant Center over the next few days. As many as four area teams -- and as few as two -- will leave Hershey with District 3 basketball titles.

The games of local interest begin Thursday, when the York Catholic and Delone Catholic girls face off in the Class AA girls' final at 6:15 p.m. That will be followed by a triple-header on Friday.

Here's a look at the complete District 3 championship schedule:

THURSDAY

4:30 p.m. -- Girls' Class A, No. 1 Steel-High vs. No. 2 Lebanon Catholic

6:15 p.m. -- Girls' Class AA, No. 1 York Catholic vs. No. 2 Delone Catholic

8 p.m. -- Boys' Class AAA, No. 4 Berks Catholic vs. No. 2 Trinity

FRIDAY

5 p.m. -- Boys' Class A, No. 1 Greenwood vs. No. 2 New Hope

6:45 p.m. -- Boys' Class AA, No. 1 York Catholic vs. No. 3 Delone Catholic

8:30 p.m. -- Girls' Class AAAA, No. 2 Red Lion vs. No. 9 Central Dauphin 

SATURDAY

11:15 a.m. -- Girls' Class AAA, No. 5 Lancaster Catholic vs. No. 3 Oley Valley

1 p.m. -- Boys' Class AAAA, No. 8 Harrisburg vs. No. 15 Chambersburg
