One final note from the Grumbacher Center: South Western senior Mike Felton left the game with 6:17 left in the fourth quarter, after suffering a cut near his right eye as he was fouled going up for a basket. He watched the rest of the game on the bench with a massive bandage over the eye. South Western coach Nathan Brodbeck said Felton was taken to the hospital afterward.

"Our trainer said he couldn't play," Brodbeck said. "The wrap wouldn't have allowed his eye to see. He had a cut under his eye. That's all I got. I didn't see anything. That's what I was told."
