Rivals Red Lion and Dallastown are at it once again starting at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, this time in the pool at Dallastown.

The atmosphere should be great when the Lions and Wildcats face each other, with the inside track to the YAIAA Division I girls’ swimming and diving title on the line.

Both teams are 1-0 in the league and both feature plenty of star power. Expect a lot of close races in this meet, which may come down to points earned by the fourth and fifth place finishers.

Red Lion is hoping to end the Wildcats’ string of seven straight YAIAA titles, including all three since the league split into two divisions.

The boys meet should be interesting, with plenty of good swims, however three-time champion Dallastown’s depth may be hard for the Lions to overcome.
