New radio station to broadcast local hoops games
A new radio station, WHYF AM 720, will broadcast 10 District 3 boys' basketball games throughout the rest of the regular season.
From the station's press release:
Holy Family Radio will use the latest technology to broadcast the 10 game schedule from the schools to the live web based audio streaming on the Internet. Air time for most of the broadcasts is 7:25 p.m. WHYF will also broadcast playoff games involving Catholic high schools as time and financial support allows. Station manager Doug Neatrour commented, “WHFY AM 720 is committed to our local community. We have only been on the air several months and are delighted to be able to add these games to our growing local programming efforts.” The games will be broadcast live on the web at www.yourholyfamilyradio.com.
