YAIAA Athlete Spotlight: Eastern York's Abby Brate

Abby Brate is a senior on the Eastern York basketball team and was kind enough to answer a few of our questions.

If you ran into Lady Gaga at the local Sheetz, what would be the first thing you said to her?

"Oh my goodness, it's Lady Gaga."

If you could switch places with one person for the day, who would it be?

Michael Jordan.  He is my biggest idol and I would love to see what it is like in his shoes.

How often do you delete friends from Facebook? Do you feel guilty afterwards?

Not that much, every once in a while.  Only when I am going through and erasing some I don't talk to.  I don't really feel guilty, I mean these are people that I have not talked to in forever.

What television show needs to make a comeback?

I would have to say Laguna Beach because I was in love with that show.

If you could travel anywhere in the world for a month, where would it be?

Paris.  I have always wanted to go there and there seems like there is just so much to do.

Why did you start playing basketball?

Because I love the game.  I have been playing since I was seven.
