York Catholic's Ingram headed to St. Francis

York Catholic standout Lindsay Ingram made school history Monday, becoming the first Fighting Irish girls' lacrosse player to earn a Division I scholarship. The senior signed her letter of intent to play at St. Francis University in Loretto, Pa.

Ingram racked up 43 goals and 20 assists last season from the attack position last spring, helping lead York Catholic to its first appearance in both the YAIAA and District 3 playoffs. Even more impressive: it was only her third year of organized lacrosse.

Ingram has been accepted into the Doctorate Program at Saint Francis and plans to pursue a career as a physical therapist, according to a release by York Catholic.
