Though Boiling Springs does not play in the YAIAA a special recognition goes out to the squad playing in honor of fallen comrade Sam Gitt, who died at team camp this summer.

The Bubblers started the game with 10 men on defense - without a nose guard (Gitt's position). But the group played like they had 20 defensive players on the field all game while shutting out Littlestown, the YAIAA's most prolific offense over the past few seasons.

Now that is an impressive performance in a situation that few of us can comprehend.

Well done gentleman.
