Heather Cunningham to attend Lycoming
Former Central York guard Heather Cunningham plans to continue her basketball career at Lycoming College in Williamsport next season. Cunningham led Central York in scoring as a senior with 9.3 points per game, and drained 21 of the team's 36 3-pointers. The Panthers finished 5-17 last winter, 4-11 in YAIAA Division I play. At Lycoming, Cunningham will join a pair of YAIAA alums: New Oxford's Julia Antonelli, a rising sophomore, and Dallastown's Chelsea Shearer, a rising senior. Antonelli ranked second on the team in scoring (10.6 ppg) and rebounds (5.7 rpg) last season, while Shearer averaged 6.1 points. Lycoming finished 9-16 last winter.
