Woody signs on at NC State

Over the years, Dallastown has certainly had its fair share of swimmers go on to compete at the next level. Even today, there are several former Wildcats doing great things all over the PSAC.

However, Dallastown hasn't had a swimmer sign on with a Division I college in quite some time - until Friday, April 15 when Gerard Woody inked his letter of intent to swim for North Carolina State University.

Wildcats coach Rich Howley said that he believes Woody is the first Dallastown swimmer since Josh Weaver went to Penn State in 1998. The veteran coach put it best when asked about Woody when he said, "Our loss is their gain."
