Cannon carries William Allen over Liberty

Jalon Cannon finished the night with 22 points and 20 rebounds to lead William Allen to a 45-35 victory over Liberty.  The win gave William Allen their 18th District 11 boys basketball championship.


York High plays best game of the season and defeats Red Land

York High used their best all around game of the season to defeat Red Land 69-58 in the Class AAAA title game.


Gateway wins first WPIAL basketball title

Tyler Scott scored 20 points to lead Gateway to a 58-43 win over Chartiers Valley and their first ever WPIAL title.

Pottsville used 30 points from senior Nick Schlitzer to defeat PM West 59-53 in overtime to advance to the state tournament.


Frankford knocks off LaSalle 48-46

Frankford knocks off LaSalle 48-46 in the District 12 Class AAAA championship game.   Amar Stukes led Frankford with 11 points.


Pope John Paul earns state tourney berth in double-OT

In only their inaugural season, Pope John Paul II boys basketball team earned a trip to the state tournament by defeating Bishop Shanahan 73-65 in double overtime.
