York Catholic's Schrann could hit 2,000 Friday
It seems like we've had a flurry of these lately. In addition to this and this, another one of the YAIAA's most prominent basketball players is approaching a significant scoring milestone. York Catholic's Kady Schrann needs just 22 more points to reach 2,000 for her career, Fighting Irish coach Kevin Bankos said earlier this week. The York Catholic senior -- already the leading scorer in program history -- could reach that mark tonight, when the Irish hosts Biglerville. That also happens to be senior night at York Catholic. Talk about good timing. Whenever she gets there, Schrann will be the sixth YAIAA girls player to reach 2,000 points in a career.
