Annville-Cleona clinches the Lancaster-Lebanon League Section III wrestling title
Annville-Cleona set the tone early and often in their match-up against Elco on Tuesday night, winning 49-20. The victory improves the Dutchmen's record to 24-1 and the L-L Section III title.
Garden Spot won their first Lancaster- Lebanon Section II wrestling title since 1989 by defeating Manheim Central Tuesday.
Blue Streak swimmers stay undefeated
Manheim Township boys and girls swimming teams both improved to 8-0 overall and 4-0 in the L-L after sweeping their swim meet against Cedar Crest.
Saturday at the Lancaster-Lebanon wrestling tournament, Solanco outlasted a strong charge from Garden Spot to take home the title. Solanco took home four individual titles to help them regain the team title.
The Ephrata girls took command of Section II swimming Thursday by defeating Lampeter-Strasburg and improving to 3-0 in the L-L and dropping Lampeter-Strasburg to 3-1.
The Bellafonte girls swim team remained undefeated after beating Tyrone HS and Clearfield HS Thursday. The Red Raiders improved to 7-0.
