Like every year, I recently penned my year in review in local sports and like I do every year I did forget about somethings.

There was certainly no intent on my part to ignore the accomplishments of the 2009-10 Eastern York boy's basketball team that went all the way to the PIAA Class AAA semifinals. I certainly wasn't trying to slight the Golden Knights, I just had a momentary lapse in memory.

Speaking of momentary lapses, I also missed the YAIAA's second state championship of the spring sports season when I neglected to mention Bermudian Springs capturing the PIAA Class AA baseball championship.

I ask readers to forgive these unintentional omissions. Forgive me, but don't cut me any slack. After missing these two things I missed I don't deserve any breaks.
