Three area teams among PFN's teams to watch

A trio of York-Adams area teams were included the "Others to watch" section of the Pennsylvania Football News' latest state rankings.

Dallastown and Littlestown both earned consideration in Class AAAA and AA, respectively. Not surprising when you factor their still-perfect records and impressive victories last Friday. Littlestown trampled rival Delone Catholic, while Dallastown dominated L-L foe Penn Manor.

Slightly more surprising: Dover earned mention in the Class AAA rankings.

Then again, Dover is a perfect 3-0, and has outscored its three opponents by a combined 118-31. Impressive, even if the those three teams are a combined 2-7 so far this year.

No area teams were included in the Patriot-News' latest state rankings.

Dover should get a bigger test this Friday when it hosts Spring Grove. Win that game, and you'd have to say Dover is definitely for real.

Dallastown also gets quite a test this weekend when it visits West York. And speaking of the Wildcats, they might be the only team in the YAIAA this season with its own theme song. Check it out after the jump.

I first came across this while covering the Wildcats' win against Penn Manor last Friday. The song was written, produced and performed by Tanner Floyd, a senior on the team.

Not that I'm overly qualified to be a judge of anything music-related, but I have to say, the production quality is really, really good. Thanks to Tanner for passing along the info on the song.

Any other teams in the area have something similar? If so, pass them along.
