Hanover sponsoring canned food drive

As has become an annual tradition at Hanover High School, the school's athletic booster club is sponsoring a canned good and non-perishable food drive during the fall and winter sports seasons.

The fall season events are:

-- Varsity Football vs. Biglerville on Friday, Sept. 17

-- Boys' Soccer vs. Dover on Wednesday, Sept. 29

-- Volleyball vs. Delone Catholic on Thursday, Oct. 14

Free admission will be granted to any student who brings two canned goods or other non-perishable food items to the event. Both Hanover students and students from the opposing team's school district are encouraged to participate.

All donations will be given to the Hanover Red Cross Food Pantry.
