Josh Hess makes the play for Dallastown

Dallastown's Josh Hess recorded the first tackle of his varsity career during the Wildcats' win at Red Land.

According to Dallastown coach Kevin Myers, Hess made a solid stick on a Patriot return man on kickoff coverage.

While it is true that lots of kids are earning their first varsity tackles, especially early in the season, Hess was born deaf and did not play organized football until last season, when he suited up for the Wildcat JV squad.
