Eastern

in the lead thanks to a pair of 3-pointers and 4-for4 shooting from

beyond the free-throw line, early. And during the final three minutes

Austin Tillotson penetrated to find the open jumper or a man cutting to

the hoop.

Second quarter: Eastern leads 23-17 at halftime.

Abington

Heights cut the lead to one point with 2:38 to play in large part

because Eastern went dead cold. After shooting 7-for-14 in the first

quarter, the Knights didn't score a field goal until Austin Tillotson

hit a runner with 2:25 to play in the first half. Davin Zimmerman saved

Eastern, hitting a trey with about five seconds to play in the second

quarter. Eastern shot 2-for-13 in the second quarter.

Eastern started the second frame holding a 18-9 lead.

Andrew Nicholas scored nine points in the first quarter as Abington Heights has struggled to keep pace when Eastern runs.

First quarter: Eastern up 12-3 with 2:43 to play. Pottsville's Martz Hall is packed with Eastern fans, it might as well be a home game.

Quick

note after watching the first two-plus minutes. Abington Heights needs

to cover Andrew Nicholas on the outside. The big man has hit two treys

in the opening 2:59.
