Eastern's Nicholas close to school's all-time record

UPDATE: A previous commenter was indeed correct. Our records were short one box score (Eastern's 72-47 win in a make-up game with Columbia, which was played on Jan. 30). Nicholas scored 23 in that game, bringing his career point total to 1,676. He needs just five points to pass Jon Raab as Eastern's all-time leading scorer, something Golden Knights coach Larry Fisher confirmed earlier tonight.A story about Nicholas' impending milestone can be found here.

According to Daily Record/Sunday News box scores, Eastern York standout junior Andrew Nicholas is nearing the school's all-time scoring mark. Nicholas currently sits at 1,653 points, just 27 behind Jon Raab (Class of '88), who has 1,680.

That means there's an outside chance Nicholas hits that mark Friday, in the top-seeded Golden Knights District 3 quarterfinal against No. 9 Susquehanna Township at the Giant Center (8 p.m.).

That looming milestone got us to thinking, who are the top scoring duos (teammates from the same class) in York-Adams hoops history? Luckily for us, resident historian and colleague Jim Seip had an answer for us.

Here's a hint: Nicholas and fellow junior Austin Tillotson are already pretty high on the list. Check out the full rundown after the jump.
