This information comes via YDR sports reporter Steve Navaroli, who spoke earlier tonight with Dallastown coach Kevin Myers.

Recruiting interest continues to pick up for Dallastown junior Ben Kline. In addition to previous offers from West Virginia and Connecticut, Kline (pictured above) has since received scholarship offers from Rutgers and Maryland, Myers said. Kline has even received face-to-face visits from both UConn coach Randy Edsall, a Susquehannock grad, and Scarlet Knights coach Greg Schiano.

Myers said he also expects Pittsburgh and Temple to put in offers to the receiver/linebacker after this year's signing period wraps up. As for Penn State, Myers said Nittany Lions defensive line coach Larry Johnson also paid a visit recently.

And considering Kline -- a 6-foot-2, 220-pound junior with 4.5 40-yard-dash speed -- still has a full season left, it's a good bet the number of interested teams only grows. Especially once the weather warms up and college teams start hosting their summer camps.

Kline figures to project as a linebacker at the next level, although Myers has said in past Kline has received interest as a wideout as well.
